Bilodeau's Furniture first opened in 1976 out of a small garage in Seekonk, Massachusetts. Owner, Dennis Bilodeau began his career in furniture restoration. Mr. Bilodeau studied the construction of antiques and honed his craft under the tutelage of several fine craftsmen. A master craftman himself, Mr. Bilodeau developed a love for antiques and an appreciation for quality workmanship. His knowledge about wood species, authenticity, and furniture construction is due to the many years in the trade of restoration.

In 1977, Bilodeau's moved to its current location in North Dighton, Massachusetts. Although Mr. Bilodeau continues to restore furniture, his business gradually evolved into new furniture sales during the mid 1980s. Being a craftman at heart, Mr. Bilodeau has an unusual approach to furniture sales. His primary interest is in providing the highest quality products to his customers. Mr. Bilodeau now specializes in solid wood cherry and oak furniture. He has carefully selected furniture from selected manufactures who hold the same regard for quality wokmanship.

The showroom at Bilodeau's Furniture is stocked with many lovely dining and bedroom sets as well as numerous occasional pieces. Much of the furniture is Amish or Menonite made and accurately reflects the design and style of early American, Shaker, Colonial, and Traditional furniture. This furniture is crafted with many of the same techniques considered standard during the 19th century. These pieces don't enter Bilodeau's showroom until Dennis Bilodeau has personally inspected each individual piece. He is a perfectionist who stakes his reputation on the quality of his product.
